Grant's journey has been shaped by both triumph and hardship. Following the passing of his father in September 2017, he continued pursuing the sport they shared together while carrying with him the values his father instilled in him. Supported every step of the way by his mother, Emily Robinson; grandparents Craig and Karri Lee, Sue Grady and Jerry Weber; and great-grandparents Richard and Darlene Zahn, whose unwavering encouragement has helped make his racing dreams possible, Grant has shown remarkable resilience, determination and maturity well beyond his years.

Off the track, Grant is an honor roll student enrolled in honors courses, balancing the demands of school with a busy racing schedule. History is among his favorite subjects, and he approaches academics with the same commitment and work ethic he displays at the racetrack. Whether riding his GasGas E-Bike, playing pickleball with friends, spending time with his beloved eight-year-old boxer, Stella, or helping neighbors, family and friends whenever he can, Grant consistently demonstrates the qualities that make him a positive role model.

Those who know Grant describe him as respectful, humble and kind. He is always setting goals to better himself and works tirelessly to achieve them. He also understands the responsibility that comes with representing his family, sponsors and the amateur motocross community, while never taking for granted the support he receives from those around him.

Ryder Schnowske was born in Cambridge, Illinois and began racing at four years old. Ryder loved riding and his goal was to become a professional racer. Tragically Ryder passed away on June 22, 2019, while attempting to qualify for the AMA Amateur National at the Baja Acres Regional Championship, Ryder was 15 years old.

The Ryder Schnowske #632 Award recognizes much more than accomplishments on the racetrack—it celebrates young athletes who inspire others through their character, determination and compassion. Grant Robinson embodies those values every day, making him a deserving recipient of the 2026 Ryder Schnowske #632 Award. The Monster Energy AMA Amateur Motocross National Championship presented by AMSOIL congratulates Grant and his family on this well-deserved recognition and looks forward to watching his continued success both on and off the track. Grant will be competing in the 250 C Jr. (12-17) Limited and 450 C classes this coming week at The Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.

About the Monster Energy AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship
The Monster Energy AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship presented by AMSOIL is the world's largest and most prestigious amateur motocross racing program. The national qualifying program will consist of over 50 Area Qualifiers (February through May) and 13 Regional Championships (May through June), hosted at select motocross facilities across the country.
