Redferrin to Headline Monster Energy Country Music Festival to Kick Off 2026 Monster Energy AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship

Former Pro Racer and Rising Warner Music Nashville Country Artist to Commence Week of Excitement at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch

MORGANTOWN, W.Va.. (July 15, 2026) — MX Sports has announced that rising Warner Music Nashville country artist Redferrin will headline the 2026 Monster Energy Country Music Festival on Sunday, August 2, from legendary Loretta Lynn’s Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee. This special and exclusive concert will serve as the official kickoff of the 45th running of the Monster Energy AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship Presented by AMSOIL as the culmination of this year’s opening ceremonies.

Better known by his birth name, Blake Redferrin, throughout the motocross industry, the Tennessee native is no stranger to the sport. He spent the first 24 years of his life racing, progressing through the amateur ranks and eventually turned professional. In addition to his prowess on a dirt bike, Redferrin also possessed an obvious talent for music and made a difficult decision to pause his racing career to pursue his dream as a country artist. It proved to be a life-changing move as Redferrin has become one of the brightest and most innovative singers and songwriters in Nashville, taking influences from the likes of Alan Jackson, Ozzy Osborne, Nelly, and Post Malone to create a unique style that seamlessly blends the bluegrass prominence in his hometown of White House and traditional country music with modern hip-hop and rock infusion to create high-energy songs structured around intricate layers. He released his first EP in 2024 called Old No. 7, which featured his first hit single “Jack and Diet Coke” and is currently touring with fellow country artist Billy Currington in support of Redferrin’s latest album, Some City, Somewhere, which was released last year.

Through his meteoric rise in the country music scene, Refererrin has stayed true to his motocross roots. He remains an avid rider and is a familiar face at SMX World Championship events, including a groundbreaking performance at last year’s Anaheim 2 stop of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship. It’s also not unusual for motocross riding to be featured in Redferrin’s music videos as he continues to pave new ground marrying his two life passions.

Redferrin’s performance at Loretta Lynn’s will be a one-of-a-kind homecoming, both as a former racer and a Tennessee native. He’ll be welcomed by a captive audience featuring more than 1,000 of the most elite talent in amateur motocross in addition to an equally large number of families, friends, and industry professionals. It’s a fitting way for Redferrin to share his music with the very people who inspired it.

“We’re honored to welcome Redferrin at this year’s Monster Energy Country Music Festival. He’s a special member of the motocross community and has contributed to the sport’s continued growth and success by bringing unique exposure,” said Tim Cotter, Director, MX Sports. “Our team, our racers, and their families are excited to watch one of Tennessee’s homegrown stars to the hallowed grounds of Loretta Lynn’s Ranch. It will be a memorable evening that will kick off the week with energy and excitement befitting of the world’s biggest motocross race.”
