MX Sports Congratulates North Carolina Country Music Artist
Kaylin Roberson on Receiving American Idol “Golden Ticket”
Up and Coming Singer Familiar Face WithinOff-Road Motorcycle Racing Community
MORGANTOWN, W. Va. (March 24, 2022) - MX Sports would like to congratulate and offer well wishes to up and coming North Carolina- country music artist Kaylin Roberson, 22, following her reception of a “Golden Ticket” for Season 20 of American Idol. A familiar face within the off-road motorcycle racing community, Roberson has showcased her musical talents multiple times at the Monster Energy AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship from Loretta Lynn’s Ranch and has also performed the national anthem at the famed Snowshoe GNCC.
“There is no greater feeling than to see someone with connections to the off-road racing community achieve their dreams,” said Tim Cotter, Event Director, MX Sports. “We were fortunate to witness Kaylin’s talents several years ago at our annual talent show at Loretta Lynn’s and were inspired by her rendition of ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ at last year’s Snowshoe GNCC. She left such a lasting impression that we made sure to welcome and her band to perform in concert last summer at Loretta Lynn’s. We cannot wait for her to shine in front of millions of viewers on American Idol, where she’ll have the overwhelming support of the racing community.”
Performing alongside her boyfriend, Matt Gorman, Roberson wowed the star-studded panel of judges - Luke Bryan, Katy Perry, and Lionel Ritchie - with her strong, powerful voice and was awarded with a “Golden Ticket” to travel to Hollywood, where she’ll be one of the top 40 contestants selected from hundreds of auditions. She’ll look to take the next step and impress the judges even more in hopes of moving on to the show’s second week of competition. Coverage begins on Monday, March 28, on ABC network.
