Country Music Festival to Kicks off 2021 Monster Energy AMA
Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn Ranch
Largest Amateur Motocross Event Hosts Great Evening Activities

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (July 23, 2021) – The 40th Annual Monster Energy AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship returns to the popular Loretta Lynn Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee in just 10 days, August 1st through 7th. Alongside the world’s largest and most prestigious amateur racing event is a full slate of special events and evening activities scheduled to take place.

Things will kick off on Sunday, August 1 with the Monster Energy Country Music Festival. The festival will feature TheDavisson Brothers Band, Jordan Werry, Bryce Mauldin, Kaylin Roberson and Nat Fredrick along with our very own DJ Judd who will all perform throughout the day starting at 10 a.m. on the Monster Energy Stage located on the racetrack Starting Line.

Come Sunday evening, the event will officially begin with the Monster Energy Opening Ceremonies and riders meeting at 7 p.m. at the Monster Energy Stage on the racetrack Starting Line. Then at 8:30 p.m. the Monster Energy Country Music Festival headliner Chris Janson, Grand Ole Opry member and platinum-selling recording artist, will hit the Monster Energy Stage to perform some of his hits including "Buy Me A Boat", "Fix A Drink", "Drunk Girl", "Good Vibes" & "Done".

On Sunday afternoon at 4:30 p.m. with the annual Nathan Hall Memorial Bicycle Memorial Ride will take place. Riders wanting to take part in the training ride need to meet at the announcer’s tower for the 5K. At the end of the ride, the Hall family will be giving away one Camping Pass and Two Rider Race Entries to participants of the ride.

Practice takes place Monday, August 2, featuring sight lap leaders: Axell Hodges and Jordan Jarvis, please refer to the schedule HERE for the detailed breakdown of the practice divisions and times. Also on Monday, August 2 Garrett Marchbanks will be signing autographs in the Club MX pits at 3 p.m. Then a Special Presentation from Dr. Kevin Elko, world-renowned sports psychologist, will be offered starting at 7:30 p.m. in the Monster Energy Arena.

Tuesday, August 3 will host the 2022 Cobra Models Introduction at 7:30 p.m. along with the STACYC Jam Fest (non-racers only) in the Monster Energy Arena. Then at 8:30 p.m. the VP Fuels Movie Night will kick off inside the Monster Energy Arena.

Special events kicking off on Wednesday, August 4 will start at 1 p.m. with Ricky Carmichael track side followed by an autograph signing at the Cometic Gasket display in Sponsor Village. If you want to get signed up and audition for the Friday Night talent show you will do so on Wednesday afternoon from 1 – 4 p.m. in the Monster Energy Arena. That evening at 7 p.m. Chapel Service with Rev. Kevin Cozadd of MXers for Jesus will take place at the FMF Pits. At 7:30 p.m. Monster Energy Keith Sayers will have an FMX Demo on the racetrack Starting Line, with FMF Karaoke finishing out the night at 8:30 p.m. in the FMF Pits.

If you are part of the U.S. Motorcycle Coaches Association (USMCA) they will host their Reception/Dinner at Loretta Lynn’s Plantation Home at 7:30 p.m. Who may all attend this reception/dinner? All current USMCA certified coaches and prospective coaches that want to learn more about the USMCA and what they are doing. This meeting will update coaches on the progress of the USMCA and its future initiatives.

Thursday, August 5 MX Sports Pro Racing will host a New Rider Orientation at 5:30 p.m. inside the Monster Energy Arena. An Accountability/Recovery Group Meeting will be held at 7 p.m. inside the Loretta Lynn Museum in Western Town. The second VP Fuels Movie Night will kick off at 8:30 p.m. inside the Monster Energy Arena, to end the night the Underground Motocross Fireworks Show at 10 p.m. on the Starting Line.

On Friday, August 6, Jeremy McGrath will host an autograph singing at 12 p.m. in the ARMA display area. Then on Friday evening, the Loretta Lynn Kennel Club Dog Show will take place by the Polisport Pond at 7 p.m. with the On-Track School Graduation being held inside the Monster Energy Arena at 7:30 p.m. The Makani Fashion Show will kick off at 8:00 p.m. as a prelude into the Yamaha/MotoTees Talen Show at 8:15 p.m. inside the Monster Energy Arena.

The final day, Saturday, August 7, of the 2021 Monster Energy AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship will host a Jeremy McGrath autograph session at the ARMA display starting at 12 p.m. Then the Monster Energy Award Ceremonies will be broken into two separate groups with the first one being held at 10 a.m. for Motos 1-14 and A-D. The second group will take place at 4:30 p.m. with Motos 15-36, Open Pro Sport, 250 Pro Sport and 250 B.  

Numerous activities will take place throughout the week including, Camp STACYC at Loretta’s which is designed for children ages five through 10. Camp STACYC will operate daily starting Monday, August 2 through Friday, August 6 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. and then from 2 – 4 p.m. Ross Family Farm will be onsite with their Famers Market items from 8 am – 5 pm daily, located right beside the pool. SXMX and FCA will have kids fun park at their area by Lake Loretta. Rocky Mountain ATV/MC will host a handful of events at their display area on Monday – Friday. While On-Track will host scavenger hunts daily as well. KTM, Husqvarna, GasGas, Kawsaki Team Green, Yamah bLU cRU and others will have their trackside support available to rides throughout the week.

The National class structure includes classes for youth riders on 50cc bikes all the way up to vet and senior classes. The race will follow a three-moto format, taking place over the course of a week. Participating riders have previously raced and qualified at Area Qualifiers and Regional Championships to participate in the National. 

There will be hours of live online streaming coverage that begins on Tuesday, August 3 through Saturday, August 7 on RacerTV.com, and two one-hour highlight shows featuring the event will air on MAVTV in the Fall.
