Pro Rider Orientation at AMA Amateur National on Wednesday, July 31
MX Sports and American Suzuki Host Future Pro Riders

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (July 17, 2019) – MX Sports and American Suzuki are excited to host MX Sports Pro Racing Pro Rider Orientation at the upcoming 38th Annual AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch on Wednesday, July 31 at 5:30 p.m. in the Suzuki Pit Area.

All Open Pro Sport and 250 A riders 16 years of age or older who qualified for the Top 42 at the National are eligible for an AMA Pro Racing Motocross License without further qualification. To help these riders and all future pro motocross licensed riders prepare for this next step in their racing career, MX Sports Pro Racing will conduct Pro Rider Orientation to discuss important information.

Issues to be discussed include how to apply for and obtain a pro license, including requirements for eligibility, event registration and entry process, credentialing for crew and guests, impact Concussion Baseline Test Protocol, USADA Anti-Doping, Supplements Program and available resources, Rider Medical, and a general discussion of race procedures, regulations, and technical inspection requirements. 

The Orientation will be moderated by MX Sports Pro Racing Competition Director, Roy Janson and Race Director, Jeff Canfield. The one-hour event is open to all riders and their families and crew members at no charge.
