Specialized Joins the 2018 Rocky Mountain ATV/MC
AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship

Specialized Pump Track Returns to Loretta’s

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (July 23, 2018) – MX Sports is pleased to announce Specialized as an Associate Sponsor for the 2018 Rocky Mountain ATV/MC AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship presented by Lucas Oil, an AMA National Championship held July 30 – August 4 at the historic Loretta Lynn Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.

Specialized is a United States-based company that designs, manufacturers and markets a wide variety of bicycles including; mountain, road, fitness, electric and kids along with the essential bicycling gear and equipment.

Specialized is pleased to be back at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch in beautiful Hurricane Mills, Tennessee alongside the future legends of the motocross, at the AMA Amateur National Championships.”

This year Specialized will be onsite providing demo rides with their Turbo line of eMTB bicycles, along with the return of the Specialized Pump Track presented by Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). The pump track will be open 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Monday through Saturday. They will also be providing Hotwalk and Hotrock bikes for the week at Camp Loretta’s, as well as presenting Specialized Turbos for the Nicky Hayden AMA Motocross Horizon Award, AMA Youth Award and AMA Vet Award winners. The 2018 WMX National Champion will also receive a Specialized Turbo at the conclusion of their season.

About the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship 

The Rocky Mountain ATV/MC AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship is the world's largest and most prestigious amateur motocross racing program. The national qualifying program consists of 57 Area Qualifiers (February through May) and 13 Regional Championships (May through June), hosted at select motocross facilities across the country. The qualifying system culminates in the National Final (first week in August) hosted annually since 1982 at the home of country music star Loretta Lynn in Hurricane Mills, Tenn. Nearly 22,000 racers attempt to qualify in 35 classes for the 1,470 available positions at the National. Christened "The World's Greatest Motocross Vacation", the National event serves as a launch pad for some of the biggest names in professional motocross and supercross, including Eli Tomac, Ken Roczen, Aaron Plessinger and Justin Barcia.
