The prestige that Loretta Lynn’s has gained over the years has made it the most popular event in amateur motocross. The Area Qualifiers and subsequent Regional Championships provide an opportunity for anyone to have a chance to qualify and attend Loretta Lynn’s. They are strategically located at select motocross tracks across the country to permit as many riders as possible a chance to participate.

“The 2015 season will prove to be a landmark year for the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship,” said MX Sports Director Tim Cotter. “We are excited to embark on this schedule with an all-new region in the Mid-East, many new venues and the best race organizers in America. Not only that, but combined with lower gas prices, we are anticipating record turnouts at the Area Qualifiers.” 

This marks the second year that Rocky Mountain ATV/MC has acted as the title sponsor. This year, all Area Qualifiers will be included in the popular Race Gas program. One $10 Rocky Mountain ATV/MC gift card per rider will be sent to racers for each Area Qualifier they participate in, regardless of final placement. The Regional Championships were inducted into this program last year and will continue to be a part of it in 2015 as well.
