Morgantown, W.Va.  - MX Sports is proud to announce Specialized Bicycle Components as a supporter of the 2012 Red Bull AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship presented by Amsoil. For over thirty years, the National Championship at Loretta Lynn's has been known for its unique race awards, and this year is no different as Specialized is awarding each National Champion with a p.series bike.

"We're excited to give away a brand new p.series bike to every single class champion at this year's National because we believe that these riders are the best at what they do and after a year of sweating it out at Regionals and Areas they deserve it!" said Sean Estes, Specialized Public Relations Manager. "Specialized's commitment to fun on two wheels runs deep - whether your right grip twists or not - we've got your back!"

In addition to providing the National Championship awards, Specialized has built a pumptrack down by the creek, inviting moto-enthusiasts to take an active-approach while spending downtime at the ranch. A pumptrack is basically a mini-BMX track with super tight berms, rollers and jumps. The idea is to burn laps as fast as you can without pedaling, but ultimately it's for having a good time. Don't have a bike or a helmet? No problem - Specialized will have demo gear and bikes to use at the event.

The 2012 Red Bull AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship presented by Amsoil will take place Sunday, July 29 - Saturday, August 4 at Loretta Lynn Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tenn. For more information, visit the series website at www.mxsports.com.

About the Red Bull AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship

The Red Bull AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship is the world's largest and most prestigious amateur motocross racing program. The national qualifying program consists of 50 Area Qualifiers (February through May) and 12 Regional Championships (June), hosted at select motocross facilities across the country. The qualifying system culminates in the National Final (first week of August) hosted annually since 1982 at the home of country music star Loretta Lynn in Hurricane Mills, Tenn. Nearly 20,000 racers attempt to qualify in 36 classes for the 1,446 available positions at the National. Christened "The World's Greatest Motocross Vacation", the National event serves as a launch pad for some of the biggest names in professional motocross and supercross, including Ricky Carmichael, James Stewart, Ryan Villopoto, and Ryan Dungey.
