Byron Motorsports Park North Central Amateur Regional Race ReportJune 16, 2016This past weekend the Loretta Lynn’s North Central Regional kicked off at Motosports Park in Byron Illinois. The gates opened on Thursday to all the riders coming out from across the country looking for their ticket to the big race. This is very early regional so the competition was stacked this weekend with every A, B and C class having to run two divisions on Saturday along with LCQ’s to set the stage for the remaining two moto’s on Sunday.

High Point Northeast Amateur Regional Write-UpJune 7, 2016Big things happened at High Point Raceway this weekend, like internationally big things. A small farm on Taylortown Road became the largest city in Greene County, Pennsylvania as over 350 riders from across the country and world came to compete for a chance to go to the 35th Annual Rocky Mountain ATV/MC AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship at the historic Loretta Lynn Ranch. For the people staffing the event, it was just another race, but for the riders on the gate, it was their ticket to the next level. Few local residents knew about the event. There were no lights or cameras – Just competition.
