High Point Northeast Amateur Regional Write-UpJune 7, 2016Big things happened at High Point Raceway this weekend, like internationally big things. A small farm on Taylortown Road became the largest city in Greene County, Pennsylvania as over 350 riders from across the country and world came to compete for a chance to go to the 35th Annual Rocky Mountain ATV/MC AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship at the historic Loretta Lynn Ranch. For the people staffing the event, it was just another race, but for the riders on the gate, it was their ticket to the next level. Few local residents knew about the event. There were no lights or cameras – Just competition.

Regional Championships Begin May 28th for the 35th Annual Amateur National MX Championship at Loretta Lynn’sMay 25, 2016The Rocky Mountain ATV/MC AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year, and the journey to this prestigious amateur event continues for the sport’s up-and-coming riders. The first Regional Championships begin May 28th and will continue every weekend until June 26th. The regional winners will then compete at the National Championships held at Loretta Lynn Ranch on August 1st - 6th.
