It was non-stop action at Lincoln Trail Motosports (LTM) in Casey, Illinois on April 26-27 as riders from all over the country began their journey to the 2014 Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn’s by way of the North Central Area Qualifier at LTM.  Pro Tracks was on hand to keep the track and the race program in check, while Action Sports EMS provided top level medical service for the event.

With over 20 states represented and riders from as far away as California, New York and Florida, the competition was second to none at the LTM facility in Central Illinois.  Top local and national riders including Austin Forkner, Lance Kobush, Chase Sexton, Nicholas Capps, Jayce Pennington, Jacob Grzebinski, Mitchell Harrison, Cody Williams, Jacob Williamson, Jarred Williams and John Short showed up in full force in hopes of earning their ticket to the Regional Championships and eventually ‘“The Ranch.’  These riders kept the racing action intense all weekend long as battle after battle ensued on the “Bomber” Track at LTM.

The track crew had their work cut out for them when rain moved in late Thursday night and Friday morning.  Friday’s practice was great after some early morning hustle from the troops.  Saturday morning brought the forecasted sun and wind to reality, making for some long hard days for those running the equipment.  The sun and wind hit a weekend high on Sunday morning, all while eventually blowing in some severe storms.  Around 2 p.m., severe thunderstorms and lightening moved into the area, ultimately cutting the weekend short after race five in the second set of moto’s.

All in all it was a stellar weekend at Lincoln Trail Motosports in Casey, Illinois for the Loretta Lynn’s North Central Area Qualifier.  The entire Pro Tracks staff worked their tails off to keep the program running smoothly and on time as well keeping the track in shape all weekend long as 1,084 entries hit the track over the three days.  With a top notch facility and event support from great companies like Barefoot MX Racing, Defiance Lifestyle Clothing, Braap Supply, Hot Shot MX, JM Racing Suspension Illinois, Thompsons Motorsports, MX Megastore, Sunoco and Fly Racing; Lincoln Trail Motosports is a ‘“must ride’ for any racer!!!  Good luck to all of those riders that made it to the Regional Championships.
