Largest Amateur Motocross Event Draws Industry’s Top Companies 

With the 35th Annual Rocky Mountain ATV/MC AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship presented by AMSOIL just around the corner, August 1-6, MX Sports is pleased to welcome a host of returning sponsors back to the historic Loretta Lynn Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee. The industry’s top companies, along with some of the biggest names in amateur racing, will join forces for the world’s largest and most prestigious amateur motocross race. 

Rocky Mountain ATV/MC continues to show their support for amateur racing as they return to the ranch for the third year as the title sponsor. After being involved in both the Area Qualifiers and Regional Championships, the Race Gas program returns for the National where racers who registered through the Fast Track Registration Service will receive a $20 gift card redeemable on all Rocky Mountain ATV/MC inventory. Through this program Rocky Mountain ATV/MC has contributed a grand total of $251,400 back into the hands of amateur motocross racers as they compete on the Road to Loretta’s. In addition, Attack Graphics is offering a promotional code for limited edition Loretta Lynn number plate backgrounds to be included.

AMSOIL returns as the presenting sponsor of the AMA Amateur National, supporting the event and riders for its 13th year. Thor and Parts Unlimited continue their high-level of support hosting various giveaways, as well as the Thor Tower that provides the best viewing for Thor racers and families throughout the week.

Oakley will be in Sponsor Village displaying a mix of their sunglasses and motocross goggles, while Red Bull returns as the official energy drink for its sixth consecutive year in addition to sponsoring the Mini Moto pit bike race. GoPro returns as the official camera and will have trackside activation all week with daily giveaways. 

Alongside the National’s feature sponsors are the associate sponsors, including Renthal, Dunlop, FMF, Pivot Works, Thor Motor Coach, Wiseco, Cometic, Sunoco Race Fuels, MotoTees and Alpinestars who extended their partnership through 2018.

About the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship 

The Rocky Mountain ATV/MC AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship is the world's largest and most prestigious amateur motocross racing program. The national qualifying program consists of 55 Area Qualifiers (February through May) and 13 Regional Championships (May through June), hosted at select motocross facilities across the country. The qualifying system culminates in the National Final (first week in August) hosted annually since 1982 at the home of country music star Loretta Lynn in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
